Our riding tours start with a one or two-day transit in a 4x4 van from Ulan Bator. In an attempt to respect the local environment, we prefer to keep the tour groups small (2 to 8 people). Our tours are open to all, inexperienced riders and children from the age of 12 are welcome. Horses are part of Mongolia’s roots and culture, so there is no better way to experience Mongolia ! Food and equipment is transported by the horses in packsaddles or by yak. Typical meals include vegetables, cereals, meat preserves and fruit. For groups of 4 people or more, a 4x4 vehicle accompanies us from a distance for the duration of the trek. Please consult us for more information on prices for family groups.
Our tours include the following :
* Transfers from the airport/station/guesthouse (hostel) or hotel in Ulan Bator.
* Transport in 4x4, with driver (& mechanic), with petrol included for the transit.
* For groups of 4 people or more, transport of equipment and provisions by 4x4 with driver (& mechanic). Petrol included.
* For groups of less than 4 people, equipment and provisions are carried by packsaddle or by Yaks.
* Full board, all inclusive for the duration of the tour
* Horses, riding equipment & Russian saddle provided.
* 2 riding guides accompany each tour.
* A French or English-speaking interpreter
* A cook provided for groups of 3 people or more (for groups of 2 people, your interpreter prepares your meals)
* Entrance fees to national parks, monasteries….
* Tents and cooking materials included.
* We will set up a temporary camp each night and sleep in tents.
Our tours DO NOT include the following :
* International flights
* Train ticket reservations (please see our form in the RESERVATION section of our website).
* Accommodation at our guesthouse (hostel) on your arrival in and departure from Ulan Bator (prices range from 5€ to 15€ on average) or at a local hotel (prices range from 60€ to 80€ on average)
* Meals in Ulan Bator on your arrival or departure (meal prices range from 5€ to 10€ on average).
* Drinks, tips & pocket money while in Ulan Bator and during the tour.
PAYMENT:
* A deposit of 150€ per tour must be put down in order to make a reservation.* Once your deposit is received, an invoice will be sent to you via Internet.
* The balance must be paid on arrival, please bring cash in Euros or US dollars.
* Payment required in advance for the issue of train and flight tickets.
